WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO IF A VIOLENT INDIVIDUAL SUDDENTLY CONFRONTED YOU?

Protect your staff, your visitors, and yourself…

Being Prepared Just Makes Good Sense!

Personal Safety

While incidents involving indiscriminate and unprovoked acts of violence perpetrated against people in public places remain a relatively rare occurrence, the recent increase in high profile incidents like those at Columbine High School, Virginia Tech College and in Mumbai, India underline the importance of realizing the need to acknowledge and prepare for these sorts of tragedies.

While no two incidents are exactly alike, traditional responses involving “lockdowns” and “stay and shelter” measures may, in fact, be counter-productive to personal safety or survival.  The solution may not require the implementation of overt security measures that threaten to make our schools resemble jails or transform our public spaces into fortresses.

Sterling has prepared an innovative E-Instructional video which identifies the techniques that individuals can employ to increase their personal safety in the event that they find themselves “in the wrong place at the wrong time” facing a violent individual.

The video is available as a “Pay per View” over the internet at or organizations may prefer to provide the content as part of an interactive E-Instructional series through their intranet IT server system where participant mastery of the content can be confirmed and logged.
